Complete the Membership Application Form & Interview
- Start by filling out the Membership Application Form to provide basic details, select interests, and acknowledge our community guidelines.
- This form ensures that you understand our values, purpose, and expectations for members.
One-Time Setup Fee & Monthly Donation
- Pay a one-time setup fee of $30.
- Choose a monthly donation tier: $10, $20, or $30 (Sliding scale—everyone receives the same benefits).
- Your contribution supports our mission and helps sustain our growing community.
New Member Orientation (NMO)
- A 10-15 minute session covering:
- The spiritual framework of our community
- Legal landscape of natural medicines in Colorado
- Social and ethical expectations for members
- A valid state ID is required.
- Upon completion, you receive your Membership Card.

Step 2: Complete Your Membership Profile

Harm Reduction & Safety Lecture
- To participate in events involving natural medicines (e.g., cacao, sananga, entheogens), you must complete a safety lecture.
- These 10-15 minute sessions cover:
  - How the body processes natural medicines
  - Potential risks (medical and psychological interactions)
  - Dosing and effects
  - Verbal understanding & Waiver of Liability
Sign Required Documents
- Liability Waiver & Code of Ethics
- Acknowledgment of safety protocols

Step 3: Receive Your Membership Card

Your Membership Card verifies that you have completed the safety training and membership process.
It does not indicate any specific medicine use, maintaining your privacy.
You choose:
- A name for your card (can be a nickname, as long as it links to your ID).
- Your Member ID (1-6 characters, letters/numbers, should not be personally identifying).

Nechama Spiritual Center only tracks Member IDs—no names, addresses, or personal information are stored.
